Greater Noida



Greater Noida (GN)  is located in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). It is under the purview of the National Capital Region(NCR) of India. It is located about 40-kilometre (25 mi) south-east of New Delhi and about 20-kilometre (12 mi) south-east of Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia.
The development of Greater Noida is managed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority . Greater Noida is a fast growing region, on a trajectory to be one of the largest industrial and education hubs of India.

Greater Noida is home to a number of Indian and foreign multi-national companies. There are a number of private educational institutions as well, so it is also known as the Educational Park.
A number of tourism and entertainment projects are under development in Greater Noida. This includes the Greater Noida Night Safari[2], aFormula One circuit for the Indian Grand Prix[3] and an 18 hole golf course called the Jaypee Greens, designed by Greg Norman. Greater Noida is the site for some events of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, being hosted by New Delhi. An International Airport is under development near Jewar village of Greater Noida. Greater Noida is home to the Gautam Buddha University.
